Houston Texans, Led By Arian Foster, Defeat Cincinnati Bengals in AFC Wildcard for Second Consecutive Year

Arian Foster continues to be money in the playoffs for the Houston Texans. Foster rushed for 128 yards and one touchdown in the Texans 19-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in AFC Wildcard Playoff game. Foster set an NFL playoff record by rushing for a total of 425 yards in his first three career playoff games.

The Texans dominated the time of possession in the first half but were only up 9-7 at halftime. The Bengals lone score in the first half came off of a Leon Hall 21 yard interception return for a touchdown.

Offensively, Cincinnati played poorly. Star wide receiver A.J. Green didn't catch his first pass until the third quarter. Also, the Bengals didn't convert a 3rd Down all game; going 0/9. Quarterback Andy Dalton went 14/30 passing for 127 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

J.J. Watt continued to be a factor for the Texans defense, getting 5 tackles, a sack and knocking down 2 passes. Johnathan Josepth also had 5 tackles and 1 interception for the Texans.

With the win, the Texans play at New England in the AFC Divisional Round next week. Meanwhile, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has now lost all four of his playoff appearances.
