Hacked Dallas Construction Signs Slam Trump
Imagine you're on your early morning commute to work in Dallas. You're still trying to wake up, maneuvering through yet another construction zone, but the instructions on the signs ahead are displaying name calling of a presidential candidate.
Commuters got just that earlier this week when the electronic construction signs along I-30 in Dallas were hacked. Instead of traffic instructions, the messages on the portable signs told commuters to take the day off work, vote for Bernie Sanders and called Donald Trump a "shape shifting lizard."
The signs belong to the Texas Department of Transportation, who warned that the hacked messages weren't humorous. TxDOT warned that motorists had no way of knowing what construction obstacles were ahead, once hackers changed the messages.
Don't mess with Texas, no matter who you're voting for.
