The Texas635 Foundation is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser this Friday in Lubbock. The foundation was created to honor the life of Texas Tech Police officer Floyd East Jr. who was killed in the line of duty on October 9, 2017, and other law enforcement officers who have been killed in the line of duty.

The fundraiser will be held Friday, July 12 at 8am at The Rawls Course at Texas Tech. The format is four-man scramble and entry fees are $120 per person or $480 for a team of four. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served and goodie bags will be given away to all of the players in the scramble.

Sponsors for the fundraiser include: H-E-B, the El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association, Lubbock Bourbon Society, and The Office of the President at Texas Tech University.
