Former NFL Star and Actor Bubba Smith Passes Away

Former NFL star and "Police Academy" movie actor Bubba Smith was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday afternoon by his caretaker.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office said that it has not determined a cause of death, but do believe the cause of death was natural.

Smith was an NFL defensive lineman for three different NFL franchises, the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers.

He later had a career in Hollywood as movie and TV actor which include the cult classic, Police Academy, where he played Moses Hightower in all but one of the sequals.
