First Friday Art Trail Returns This Friday In Lubbock
We are coming up on the Independence Day weekend in Lubbock and more most that means grilling in the back yard, beer, a little pool time, and of course 4th on Broadway and fireworks.
But it can also mean getting in a little time with art and artist in Lubbock.
First Friday Art Trail is this Friday in Downtown Lubbock from 6-9 p.m. Art galleries and even some restaurants will be open showing off work from different artists in Lubbock. The Buddy Holly Center will be just one of those places hosting a night of art in Lubbock during the First Friday Art Trail.
This Friday, the Buddy Holly Center will host an exhibit called Creative Spark! It's a 3-D exhibition by artists Carol Koenig and Jennifer Greer explores "vast thematic spectrums using found and natural materials".
According to a press release from the Buddy Holly Center, there will also be a cash bar and free admission during First Friday Art Trail.
From 6PM – 9PM, enjoy a cash bar provided by Civic Lubbock, Inc. and free admission. Free mixed-media arts activities will be available for all ages in the education space. Creative Spark artists Carol and Jennifer will be in attendance during First Friday hours!
