Boxing Royalty Evander Holyfield to Speak in Lubbock

Looking for a karma boost while having a chance to meet one of the greatest boxers the sport has ever seen?

Evander Holyfield, a long-time member of The Boys and Girls Clubs of America's Alumni Hall of Fame and four-time heavyweight champion, is coming to Lubbock on Thursday night (March 10) as a guest speaker for the Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock's 19th annual Outback Steak Dinner.

Along with the dinner, there will be a live auction for signed sporting goods like footballs, basketballs and other unique items. A silent auction will also be held.

Individual tickets are $50 and corporate tables are available for $500 which seat six. The event, hosted at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall, begins at 6:30 p.m. You can find more information about the event at the Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock's website.
