So in this installment of what’s on my mind, we cover a topic that should be second nature to most folks. But, unfortunately, it seems like a good number of people tend to overlook.

Common courtesy -- is it common? Doesn’t seem like it anymore.

I came home today to find a roofer, who was not employed by me and not roofing my house, parked in my driveway without any consent or permission to do so. So I asked them to get out of my driveway. I mean, they have no right to be there and I do have a 'no trespassing' sign posted. So they leave my driveway.

That should have been the end of the story. Nope, not even close. One of them decided to leave a huge tree branch in the middle of my driveway. You can imagine how mad I got.

This had a simple solution: all they had to do was ask to park there. But nope, they took it upon themselves to do what they wanted to do and have a complete disregard for my property and rights.

Take a look at the video below (some NSFW language) and let me know if this was handled the right way or wrong way. I also want to know if you think that common courtesy and manners still exist in Lubbock. Let me know!
