
Do You Like Movies? Do You Like The Outdoors? We Got a Treat For You!
The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreations Department will be having a special screening of the Disney-Pixar movie Cars in the wide-open outdoors.
The movie will be at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 13th at Safety City in Clapp Park, located at 46th and Ave. U.
From the City of Lubbock:
Families are encouraged to bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs, snacks and mosquito spray to enhance their viewing experience.
Admission is free to the movie, so grab a blanket and the kids and go have some fun at an outdoor movie.
The movie is part of the Parks and Rec's summer-time Movies in the Park event, which started on July 22 with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Here's the rest of this year's schedule:
- Coco -- Friday, July 20 at dusk/Approximately 9 p.m. at Maggie Trejo Supercenter, 3200 Amherst
- Peter Rabbit -- Friday, July 27 at dusk/Approximately 9 p.m. at Maxey Community Center, 4020 30th Street,
- Despicable Me 3 -- Saturday, August 4 at dusk/Approximately 8:45 p.m. at Rawlings Community Center, 213 40th Street
