Okay, maybe I'm not beloved, but I'm pretty sure I was just called a male "Karen" on Twitter.

This past weekend, I decided to finally make my trek to the new Dutch Bros, location on 19th Street. I was a regular fan of Dutch Bros. when I lived on the West Coast, so this was a welcome sight, almost rivalling the opening of a new In-N-Out Burger location. But we can only dream about that.

Expecting a long wait in the line, I settled in, downloaded the Dutch Bros. app, and readied myself in anticipation of enjoying my long-awaited Electric Berry Lemonade.

Surprisingly, the long line moved incredibly quickly, and I had my drink in less than 10 minutes.

I drove away...happy. I felt free and alive. I had my beverage, and felt so fulfilled that I chose to share my good fortune with the world via Twitter. That is when the wheels came off the wagon.

After I posted the happy photo, I saw a couple of likes, and then a response from Dutch Bros. Huzzah! I was overjoyed. However, my glee quickly turned to shock after I saw their response.

This is the screenshot of the Twitter exchange:

Wait -- Chad? CHAD?!  Did Dutch Bros just call me the equivalent of a "Karen" with a "Y" chromosome? They seriously "Chad-ed" me. I couldn't believe it. I mean, my Twitter handle is essentially my FREAKING NAME! So, either they just whiffed or decided to call me out and troll me severely.

Now, their error could be completely innocent, as I did notice that our radio compadre, KFYO's Chad Hasty, had "liked" my tweet and asked what I was drinking before Dutch Bros. responded, so perhaps there was some confusion. However, like I said, my name is in my Twitter handle, so it takes work to miss the mark by that much. So, yeah, I think I was trolled by a major corporation.

Oh, I almost forgot, this is Chad. Chad says 'Hi.'
