One day after leading the Denver Broncos to a win over the Chicago Bears, quarterback Brock Osweiler received another vote of confidence from head coach Gary Kubiak.

Kubiak announced that Osweiler will start in Sunday night's game against the New England Patriots.

“We said that we would go back and review the entire situation at the beginning of this week, which we have done. Basically nothing has changed," Kubiak said at his Monday press conference on DenverBroncos.com. "We made the decision we made last week (to start Osweiler). We think this is best for Peyton and for our football team right now. That's the way we will proceed. Like I said, we're all in on the next football game.”

Concerning Manning, Kubiak said to DenverBroncos.com, "I can tell you his mindset is a day at a time trying to get healthy and all those things and help [the Broncos]. That's all he talks to me about."

In Denver's 17-15 win over Chicago, Osweiler went 20/27 passing for 256 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

The Broncos are in first place in the AFC West with an 8-2 record.  Meanwhile, the Patriots are the best team in the AFC with a 9-0 record, leading the AFC East by 4.5 games over the Buffalo Bills.

Sunday's game can be heard on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan. Broncos Pregame starts at 5:35pm with kickoff at 7:25pm.
