Crave Will Be Closing in Lubbock
Lubbock is losing another small business.
After five years of being open and serving great desserts, Crave Creperie + Dessert Bar is closing its doors for good.
In a Facebook post on Monday (March 22nd), the owners of Crave announced that they will be open weekends only until Easter Sunday, which is April 4th, 2021. You can see Crave's full post announcing their pending closure below:
That means fans of Crave will only have two more weekends to enjoy dessert at Crave.
Crave is located in the West End Shopping Center which is an area that has seen a lot of growth. Crave also announced that in coming weeks they will be selling off equipment and products in April. So if you are looking to start your own business, or just want to see if you can score some update kitchen equipment, you may want to join in on the sale.
It's not completely known why Crave is closing its doors in Lubbock, but we are sad to see them go. Lubbock doesn't have many just dessert places and with Crave having been around for 5 years, they had built a loyal following.
There's been a lot of recent restaurant news in Lubbock.
While Crave is closing its doors, other restaurants are opening or getting close to opening in Lubbock. Last week, Bubba's 33 opened in the South Plains Mall parking lot, and Uncle Julio's announced that they would soon open on March 30th. The Shack BBQ also announced last week that it would be reopening with new ownership.
On the other end of the spectrum, it was confirmed Monday that Casa Ole would be closing in Lubbock.
