Covenant Health needs our help to support them and protect health workers from being exposed to COVID-19 with donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

They will be set up for donations beginning today at the Covenant Health parking lot just off 21st and Indiana. A Covenant Health trailer will be set up there with banners and will be accepting donations from noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning March 24th.

Here is Covenant Health's press release:

Covenant Health is asking our communities to consider donating any extra PPE they may have to our hospitals. Starting Tuesday, March 24, community members can drop off donations at a specified location near Covenant Medical Center. If you are willing and available to donate these items to our hospitals, please do so.
Our needs include:
• Face shields
• Face Masks (non-medical or n-95 face mask non-medical)
• Face Masks (medical)
• Medical Gowns (paper fluid resistant or plastic)
• Hand sanitizer
• Disinfecting wipes (Clorox/Lysol wipes)
• Baby Wipes
• Nitrile gloves (new, in unopened box, not expired)
• Goggles (medical)

Please stay in your car for drop-offs. This is a tremendous opportunity to help our caregivers stay safe during this difficult time.
