Bartolo Colon Should Be an Automatic Lock for Hall of Fame After His Latest Commercial
At the ripe age of 45 years old, Texas Rangers pitcher Bartolo Colon has been a fan favorite of just about anyone in the world. No one I have ever known has said, 'I absolutely hate Bartolo Colon.' That's just not an emotion you feel.
If you've ever wanted to know the secret to how "Big Sexy" keeps himself in peak physical performance, an all-time commercial was just put out showing the rigorous off-season Colon goes through.
This may be one of the best commercials I've ever seen. He was squatting a pig! Who else do you know that does that? There was also a nice little tribute to Coach Belichick of the New England Patriots with the "no days off" quote. I see you Bartolo!
If that video wasn't enough for Colon to be a certain lock for the HOF, then maybe getting his first ever home run at just a couple years before his stint with Texas at the age of 42 will change the voters minds.
People also tend to forget how great of a fielder Colon was. It was on display early on in the season when the Rangers took on the Seattle Mariners.
All of these examples are just some of the reasons why Bartolo Colon is not just one of the greatest baseball dudes, just regular dudes on this planet. If this is his last season, the world will morn the loss of one of the greatest characters in baseball.
