The Texas Rangers season is over as they lose to the Baltimore Orioles 5-1.

Pitcher Yu Darvish took the loss after striking out seven, allowing three runs and five hits.  Adrian Beltre and Josh Hamilton combined for no hits on eight at bats.  Texas manager, Ron Washington said " We just didn't get it done."

Baltimore pitcher Joe Saunders took the win after striking out four, allowing six hits, one run and one walk.  J.J. Hardy had a single which scored Nate McLouth and Manny Machado had an RBI single for the Orioles.

All of this is coming after the Rangers were in position to earn home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, but because of a late season collapse, losing three straight against the Athletics and losing two games against the Angels, the Rangers are now done for the season with a record of 93-69.
