Another LCU Chap Goes in the MLB Draft

The Houston Astros stay in the state for their 26th round pick by taking LCU pitcher Chandler Casey 796th overall in the 2019 MLB Draft.

Casey is a Senior who started his career at Odessa College before transferring to LCU. In 2019 he had a 2.69 ERA, threw five complete games and had four double digit strikeout games. He is a four time Heartland Conference pitcher of the week.
