Abilene ISD Administrator Accused of Stealing Medication from School
A former Abilene Independent School District elementary school administrator has been arrested after allegedly stealing medication from the school he was employed.
The former principal for Bonham Elementary, 40-year-old Kyle Gordon Wiskow, was taken into custody by Abilene police on Monday, April 4th. He's charged with fraudulent possession of prescription, a second-degree felony.
Wiskow is accused of stealing prescription drugs from the nurse's office at the school he oversaw. Abilene ISD placed Wiskow on administrative leave in early February and following that, Wiskow resigned.
In a statement, Abilene ISD says the protection and safety of students are of upmost importance. Going on to say the district will continue to cooperate with authorities regarding this situation.
Wiskow is currently booked in the Taylor County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
