4 People Arrested for Involvement in the Murder of Robert Dendy
On Friday, June 12th, Lubbock Police announced a third and fourth arrest in the murder case of Robert Dendy.
21-year-old Matthew Wolfe was arrested by police in the 4700 block of Auburn Street. He’s been charged with 2nd degree felony- possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
25-year-old Ivan Fierro was also arrested on Friday and charged with murder. He was booked into the Lubbock County detention center on a $300,000 bond.
Wolfe and Fierro join 20-year-old Kyi Baker and a 14-year-old juvenile as primary suspects in the case. All four have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the July 6th murder of 49-year-old Robert Dendy. Baker and the juvenile were arrested the day after the murder.
LPD Investigators say the group was trying to break into a home in the 4700 block of Auburn Street when Dendy, a concerned neighbor, confronted them in an alleyway.
Dendy was shot by one of the suspects as the group fled the scene and was later pronounced dead.
