While Driving, Take Extra Care If the Sun Is In Your Eyes…Or This Might Happen [Video]
Having the sun in your eyes while driving isn't just annoying, it's dangerous.
Even with sunglasses and visors, if you aren't paying super close attention you could get into a serious wreck.
This accident happened Saturday night (Sept. 15th) around 7 p.m. in front of the Lone Star Amphitheater. The sun was pretty darn bright if you were turning left and going westbound.
Needless to say, the driver of the grey Hyundai I spoke with had the 'sun in his eyes issue,' and it cost him his car.
Neither driver was hurt, however, according to the Lubbock Police Department officers on the scene, the driver of the red pickup was arrested for unrelated charges and no citation was issued in the wreck.
Please be careful out there, folks. Pay attention and take those few extra seconds or minutes -- it could save your life.
