The Texas Tech volleyball team returns to action Tuesday night in a non-conference road match against Central Arkansas. First serve from the Prince Center is 6 p.m.

It will be just the second meeting between the two schools after the Red Raiders swept the Sugar Bears in straight sets last year in Lubbock as part of the Texas Tech Invitational.

Texas Tech is 53-24 all-time against current members of the Southland Conference and 4-0 under head coach Don Flora. It will be the second time the Red Raiders face a member of the Southland Conference this season after beating Northwestern State 3-1 in the Lonestar Showdown.

Following Tuesday’s match, Texas Tech returns to Big 12 play when No. 19 Iowa State visits Lubbock Saturday with an 11 a.m. first serve. The rest of October has the Red Raiders at Baylor and West Virginia, home to Oklahoma before visiting Kansas State. Texas Tech then comes home to face the Mountaineers before concluding the month on the road with a Halloween night match against the Sooners.
