For the twelfth straight week, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are ranked inside the AP Top 25. And for the second straight week, Tech stays at no. 7 in the nation in the latest polls.

Behind a six-game winning streak, the Red Raiders (9-3) currently sit atop the Big 12 Conference, one game ahead of the West Virginia Mountaineers (8-4) with only six remaining conference games. Texas Tech is coming off of two big wins against Iowa State and against Kansas State, while every team ranked above the Red Raiders in the Top 25 had lost at least one of their match-ups from last week.

Needless to say, after the announcement that Texas Tech did not move up one single position in the AP Top 25, there were some that wondered what else the Red Raiders had to do in order to get a little more respect.

The Red Raiders have a chance to earn a little more respect from the so-called experts when they play at home tomorrow against the no. 23 Oklahoma Sooners, who are currently in the midst of a three-game losing streak.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. Central, with the broadcast airing on ESPN.
