Missouri Football Coach Gary Pinkel Arrested for DWI

A Columbia, MO television station has confirmed Missouri Head Football Coach Gary Pinkel was arrested for DWI Wednesday night.

KOMU 8 News, an NBC affiliate, confirmed the story with Boone County Sheriff Department that Pinkel was pulled over for a lane and signal violations around 10 p.m. Wednesday evening in Columbia.

Boone County Sheriff's Department said this is Pinkel's first offense, and deputies said he was cooperative with law enforcement officials.

Texas Tech (5-5) takes on Missouri (5-5) at 2:30 in Columbia this Saturday.
