A Lubbock woman was struck after multiple shots were fired into her home the morning of Tuesday, July 20th.

KAMC News reports that it happened at roughly 1:15 a.m. in the 4300 block of East 61st Street. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and found the victim, who hasn't been identified, unconscious on the floor covered in blood. Multiple witnesses were surrounding her.

The responding officer noticed 2 wounds on the victim's left forearm and placed a tourniquet on it while he checked for other wounds. He cut the victim's clothes off to see if there were any other injuries on her body, and didn't find any after flipping her over and checking her back.

She was taken to Covenant Medical Center by EMS where she remains in stable condition.

While searching the premises, the officer found multiple shell casings on the west side of the front of the home. He also noticed a blood trail that went from the front porch to the middle of the yard, and also leading through the home to the door of a bedroom.

Security cameras were located outside, and police have attempted to access them through the victim's phone.

So far, no suspects have been arrested, nor have any descriptions of the possible suspects been released to the public.
