#5 Texas A&M defeated Texas Tech in Women’s college basketball last night 84-60 in College Station. Chynna Brown led Texas Tech with 15 points while reigning Big 12 Player of the Week Kierra Mallard was held to just 4 points. The loss snaps a three game winning streak for the Lady Raiders and drops them to 19-8 overall and 6-7 in conference play behind Iowa State for 6th place in the Big 12. The Lady Aggies improve to 23-3 and 11-2 in the conference. Next up for the Lady Raiders is a grudge match against Oklahoma State Saturday at 5pm from the United Spirit Arena.

Tonight in Men’s College Basketball, Texas Tech will host Colorado from the United Spirit Arena at 6:30pm. Colorado comes in at 16-11 on the season and 5-7 in Big 12 play while Texas Tech is 12-15 overall and 4-8 in conference play. The Buffaloes are coming off a 89-63 loss at Kansas while the Red Raiders snapped a four-game losing streak in Waco Saturday night 78-69 over Baylor. Senior Forward Mike Singletary is expected to make a return to the line up tonight after being hampered with a leg injury the past two weeks.
