If you’ve stepped outside in El Paso recently then you understand where I am coming from. El Paso’s heat is no joke, and this summer? She’s not playing nice because Summer hasn't officially even began and we are already breaking records left and right!

Although this El Paso heat is no joke, I wanted to have a little fun with it so I took it to Facebook and asked people to finish the sentence: “You know it’s hot in El Paso when…”

And El Pasoans came through with the most painfully accurate (and hilarious) responses.

We saw everything from AC breakdown horror stories to dramatic reenactments of “The Floor Is Lava” while walking across a parking lot. One person said, “Even Satan wouldn’t vacation here right now,” and we can’t confirm, but we also can’t deny it.
