After The Freezing Temperatures, What Else Can The Weather Bring In The State Of Texas?
We all don't like it when the weather is rapidly changing do we? In Texas, we've been in freezing temperatures for what feels like forever. Soon though, we'll be out of the cold, but not out of another type of weather.
Wait, What Else Is Coming To The State Of Texas Weather-Wise?
Everybody jokes about the weather here in the state, but according to the Austin American-Statesman, Dalhart hit -7 degrees at one point. In addition, the problems Houston had with the winter winter have been documented. But there's also been videos taken in Austin of people enjoying the snow too:

It looks like however, not many people are going to want to be outside for the upcoming projected weather in the state.
What Will Follow The Cold Temps In Texas?
To put it lightly, Texas is set to have a streak of days where rain will be in the forecast for a while. According to the National Weather Service:
Yes, right after the cold snow comes the rains. Texas roads are certainly going through it these days to say the least. As reported by the Austin American-Statesman from the National Weather Service, "no single day will be a complete washout."
But Is Texas Fully Out Of The Freezing Cold Winter Weather?
Concerns over the cold in Texas have not ended however. The Statesman noted concerns that the patterns themselves are close to the ones seen in 2021. As stated by Chris Coleman, ERCOT's topmost meteorologist:
“That doesn’t mean we’re going to have Uri, but it does, again, state that we’re in a pattern that supports something like a Uri this winter...The conditions are there.”
So Texas may not be out of the cold just yet.
