H-E-B Unveils Robot Delivery Service at Mueller, Texas Store
Through the usage of technology, certain things that were once tough have become easier to do. It's great to see things evolve right? Now, H-E-B is testing something that you may have seen around the nation.
What Could H-E-B Be Bringing To The Central Texas Area?
As revealed by KXAN, H-E-B is bringing little delivery robots to a certain store in the area. The selected store for the test run is none other than Austin, with the store being the Mueller one with the address of 1801 East 51st Street. The robots themselves however, aren't a new addition to the area.
Per KXAN, the robots may have already been seen in the area of Mueller. Local eateries around there were already in the process of using the tiny rolling robots, made by Avride, The restaurants made use of the robots to lower overall expenditures.

But, how can one in the Austin area have the chance to see a tiny robot roll to you with your groceries in Austin?
Here's How To Request The Robots In The Austin Area?
First, you have to be around Mueller to use the service. Second, you have to be close to the store, specifically one mile. Lastly, you'll need the Favor app.
There are certain restrictions as well with the robots. They are only allowed to carry a total of ten items that are considered small. In addition, there is a time restriction for ordering, between 11 AM and 7 PM.
Do you hope these robots make their way to other parts of Central Texas? Let us know by sending us a message using the FREE chat feature on our station app.
