
Lubbock ISD To Host A Series Of Town Hall Meetings To Discuss District Changes and Enhancements
Lubbock citizens are being invited to participate in a series of town hall meetings over the next month for Lubbock ISD. The district is wanting to engage parents, business owners, and members of the community.
Lubbock ISD Town Halls Start Soon
Lubbock ISD is hosting town halls across the district to engage people in the community and discuss proposed changes and enhancements in Lubbock ISD according to ta press release.
These town halls are a great chance to ask questions, listen to the information being shared, and get questions answered about Lubbock ISD and what is happening today and in the future.
“We’re excited to interact with our community in a way that provides clarity on the decisions made by the district and keeps them informed about and engaged in any upcoming potential changes,” said Superintendent Dr. Kathy Rollo. “This is truly an opportunity to help shape the future of our district and will have an incredible impact on countless generations of families who choose Lubbock ISD for their children. We invite all members of the community, including those within our district, to participate in these town halls.”

Lubbock ISD Town Hall Schedule
All town hall meetings are free and open to the public. Each town hall will have presentations from leadership and times for question and answers. Each town hall will begin at 5:30 and run until 7 p.m. Here are the the dates and locations of each town hall.
District 5: Tuesday, Sept. 30 | Mackenzie Middle School, 5402 12th St.
District 4: Wednesday, Oct. 1 | Monterey High School, 3211 47th St.
District 3: Monday, Oct. 20 | Coronado High School 4910 29th Dr.
District 2: Monday, Oct. 27 | Estacado High School, 1504 E. Itasca St.
District 1: Tuesday, Oct. 28 | Lubbock High School, 2004 19th St.
