Lubbock Meals on Wheels does so much for this community. From delivering daily meals, pet programs, fresh flowers on Fridays, birthday surprises, weekend meals and so much more. They are really making the community better.

Lubbock Meals on Wheels is not government funded nor are we a United Way agency. They currently feed over 900 homebound people. They have 72 delivery routes in Lubbock and Wolfforth with the help of more than 1,600 volunteers and they are still in need of volunteers.

Now thanks to a grant of $45,000 from the Junior League of Lubbock they are starting a new breakfast program on June 5th, 2023. The grant will help fund the first few months of the program while they begin to raise funds to continue the program.

The new program is available for everyone who already receives daily deliveries. Meals will be delivered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday along with the regular delivery.

The meal can be saved for breakfast the following morning, during dinner time, or as a snack. 100% of your generous donation remains local and helps enrich the lives of your fellow community members in need. You can donate online here or sign up to volunteer here. If you would like to try it out first, Meals on Wheels can pair you up with one of their volunteers for a ‘ride-along’. Just give them a call at (806)792-7971.
