Fireball Whisky Offers Huge Prize For Seniors: How To Nominate Meemaw!
Got a grandma who can outdrink your buddies at Chimy's? Well, Fireball Whisky might be looking for her.
The cinnamon-flavored whisky brand known for fueling questionable decisions and horrid hangovers is giving out a “lifetime supply” of Fireball — but there’s a catch. You’ve gotta be at least 90 years old to win. Yep, this one’s strictly for the old-timers!
Here's an old video of grandmas trying Fireball. One of them describes the taste as "like a cinnamon hot medicine going down."
According to Fireball, this campaign is a toast to their biggest (and possibly most surprising) fanbase. “Senior citizens love Fireball,” a rep said. “And who are we to argue with their years of wisdom?” Honestly, fair.
So how do you enter? If you or someone you know was born in 1935 or earlier, head to LifetimeSupplyOfFireball.com before March 31st and fill out a quick form. Don’t forget to upload a photo and explain why your favorite granny or gramps deserves to win. And if your meemaw doesn’t know how to work a computer (or thinks Wi-Fi is a kind of bird), you can nominate her yourself.
Now, before you picture Granny backing up a pallet of Fireball to the porch, here’s the fine print: the “lifetime supply” doesn’t come in liquid form. Instead, winners will get $2,400 in cash — which they can spend on Fireball... or on yarn, bingo cards, a trip to the casinos, or whatever their wise and wild heart desires.
Fireball will pick up to 15 winners in early April. So if your grandparent is the life of the party and still yells “Fireball!” like Pitbull in 2012, this might be their time to shine.
So grab that old photo album, type up a killer nomination, and maybe make history by turning your great-aunt into a whisky legend.
Because nothing says “aging with style” like Fireball on the rocks at 10 a.m. in a rocking chair on the porch.
Good luck, and cheers to the golden years!
