Well, we can finally say that fall has arrived in East Texas! The first major cold front of the season moved through Tuesday evening taking all of the heat and humidity and pushing it way south where it belongs!

With more seasonable weather on tap for this weekend it's going to make attending all of the fall festivals and events this weekend that much more fun. You might even need a light jacket to keep the chill at bay once the sun goes down!

You will not have to wait until the weekend to have some fun and ride some carnival rides thanks to the Gilmer Yamboree that is now underway.

More and more East Texas homes get dressed out with their Halloween decorations as the big trick-or-treating day draws near. It's not too late to get that pumpkin and get ready to carve it up into a jack-o-lantern. According to AI on Google, you'll want to hold off on carving out that jack-o-lantern though.

Google says you shouldn't carve your pumpkin until three to five days before Halloween so that it doesn't rot or become moldy and start stinking as those trick-or-treaters come knocking on your door!
