Fall Officially Underway Right Now

Earlier this week it was technically the first day of Fall on September 22nd. All the fall activities are going on right now, but a lot of folks think the season officially starts when the leaves start to change. For us in Texas, that is not going to be for a few weeks.

SmokeyMountains.com is a great resource for tracking when the leaves will start to change throughout the country. For us in Texas, we won't really notice much until October 21st. Even then, it will not be the full vibrant fall colors you would want to see around this time of the year.

By November 11th, the vast majority of the country will be past their peak for fall foliage. For us in North Texas and our friends in Central Texas. We will be starting to hit our peak for the changing fall colors. So if fall doesn't start for you til the leaves change, you will be waiting a few more weeks for the season to kick in for you.
