I can’t love this enough.

When it comes to professional sports, I am 100% a Dallas homer. I grew up in North Texas and love to root for the teams that represent where I come from.

And it is a damn good time to be a North Texas sports fan.

We’re only a few months removed from the Rangers winning the World Series and both the Mavericks and Stars have made the playoffs. I feel like both the Mavs and Stars are capable of winning it all. And honestly, I’ll be surprised if they don’t both make deep runs at the very least.

I know I’m not the only one who feels that way. Mavs and Stars fever is running high in this neck of the woods right now.

For example, someone took the time to paint a Dallas Stars logo in the middle of a field in Frisco, the home of the Stars’ training facility (at least I think it’s legit, anyway).

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why someone would take the time to put a logo in a spot where it could only be seen from the sky. But I’m glad they did it.
