Buc-ee's fans will soon have two new Texas locations to add to their road trip bucket list.

Why People Either Love—or Avoid—Buc-ee’s

While I’m sure there are plenty of Buc-ee's haters out there, I’ve only ever met one person who said they didn’t care for Buc-ee's. His complaint was that they were just too crowded for him. Admittedly, I’ve never been to one that wasn’t busy as all get out.

The thing is, I get weirded out by big crowds sometimes, but that’s never deterred me from going out of my way to visit Buc-ee's while out road-tripping. I’ve been a big fan since the moment I first visited one.

There’s just so much to love about Buc-ee's. Those Beaver Nuggets, barbecue sandwiches, breakfast tacos, and squeaky-clean bathrooms (a germophobe’s dream come true) keep me coming back. Hell, I once ate breakfast and dinner at the Buc-ee's in Denton on the way to and from a golf tournament.

Where Buc-ee’s Is Opening Next

Anyway, back to those new locations I was talking about. According to the Austin American-Statesman, they’ve already broke ground on a a new store in San Marcos, which is set to open in May of 2026. Another location will open its doors sometime in 2026 in Boerne.

Now, if we could just convince them to open a location here in Wichita Falls. It doesn’t hurt to dream, does it?
