A truck, engulfed in flames, had abruptly stopped in the middle of the highway. Drivers watched helplessly from the safety of their vehicles, unsure of what would happen next. X user @RobBartley73 posted the footage you can watch at the bottom of this article. Let's break it down.


Truck on Fire

As the video begins, we see the truck engulfed in smoke and flames. One of the firefighters approached the vehicle cautiously as he sprays it down with his hose. Several of the other firefighters join him. At this point, it appears as if there is a small explosion in the area of the truck's engine.

Smoldering Hulk

The flames hissed as they were smothered, and after what felt like an eternity (but was probably more like a few minutes), the truck was reduced to a smoldering hulk. Traffic resumed, but not without every driver silently acknowledging the firefighters who just saved the day.
