VIDEO: Incredible Time Lapse of Yesterday’s Storm, as Seen From The Tallest Building In Lubbock
You've got to see this fantastic video of Tuesday night's storm in Lubbock, Texas! It was captured from the tallest building in town, The Metro Tower, located at 1220 Broadway Street in the heart of The Hub City. Building manager, Charles Colbert, posted the footage to his Facebook page late last night after the storm cleared up, and it's awesome.
Check out the fabulous time-lapse video below:
Cross your fingers that we keep getting that sweet sweet rain!
I was lucky enough to watch the storm first-hand from Metro Tower, too. It was beautiful and exactly what Lubbock needed. I'm hoping we will continue to get more rain as we head into the summer. We pretty much missed out on the "April Showers" and now it feels like we are making up for it.
Also, if you haven't checked out the renovations at Metro Tower, you should definitely take a peek. They offer guided tours if you schedule them ahead of time. The building looks amazing inside after being gutted and spruced up BIG-TIME. Most of the apartments have now been rented and tenants are really enjoying the view of downtown Lubbock.
