Lubbock’s Flatland Calvary Reaches Yet Another Major Milestone
If you are an Americana/ country fan in Lubbock, you probably know nearly everything about rising stars Flatland Calvary. But in case you aren't already aware, here's a brief look at this remarkable band.
Flatland Calvary was born in Lubbock, Texas when Cleto Cordero and Jason Albers, who were studying at Texas Tech (wreck'em!) found their other band members.
Their first EP was crowdfunded in a little over a week by fans who saw them live and believed in them.
Now, Flatland Calvary has four full albums, a die-hard following, and a robust tour schedule.
And now they can add performing at one of the most iconic festivals to their accomplishments.

Flatland Calvary will be performing at 2025's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival with major acts like Luke Combs, Tyler, The Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Queens Of The Stone Age.
Bonnaroo will be held in Manchester, Tennesse June 12th through the 15th. Bonnaroo has been held every year since 2002 (except 2020 and 2021 due to COVID and Hurricane flooding).
Bonnaroo has been lauded as one the most important music festivals held in the U.S. with notable performances, including the last-ever performance by The Beastie Boys.

The festival always has a diverse array of music genres to see and a host of other activities for attendees.
Congratulations to our Lubbock-born Flatland Calvary. It's been amazing to see their rise to stardom, and it will be incredible to see what feat they accomplish next.
