All sorts of folks are moving to Texas. Cool kids from Cali and big businesses are scrambling for a piece of the Lone Star pie, but one NBA superstar says he never wants to live in Texas again.

How'd we scare him off? I bet some of y'all weren't minding your manners...

In a tongue-in-cheek interview on Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressly, which, if you aren't familiar, is much like those found on Between Two Ferns with Zack Galifianakis, Slovenian-born Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić admitted Texas was not the place for him.

Dončić was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Lakers in February, causing quite a ruckus in the NBA world.

So, what exactly did he say?

Pressly asked, "Can you see yourself ever moving back to Texas after basketball? Doesn't have to be Dallas." Without even a few seconds to think it over, Donic said, "No."

"Even Houston?"

"No."

"Houston Luka?"

"No."

"Hookah?"

"No."

You can find their hilarious exchange in the full video below:

He didn't share any horror stories, so that's good, I guess...

It looks like it was the right move for him, though. Texas must have rubbed him the wrong way. He did, however, get pretty teary watching his tribute video from the Dallas Mavericks. Couldn't have been all bad!

Sorry you weren't a fan of Texas, Luka!

Dallas isn't my favorite city either, to be quite honest, so I get it. I prefer a little more dust on my boots. Maybe try on a smaller town for size someday. We have better food, less traffic, and way better sunsets without skyscrapers mucking up the view!
