
9 Reasons Lubbock Might Be the Worst—And We Still Love It
We moved to Lubbock when I was 5 years old to be closer to my grandparents. I was too little to have much of an opinion on whether or not Lubbock would be a fun place to live, but my grandparents assured me I would love it here.
Fast forward 30 years, here I am, by choice, in Lubbock, Texas.
Turns out, I kind of like it here.
Lubbock Has Its Ups
Killer sunsets, low cost of living, friendly people, and great barbecue. Lubbock is a great place to raise a family.
Lubbock Has Its Downs
The wind is a bully, you find dust in places on your body you didn't know existed, and construction is never-ending. Sometimes, Lubbock sucks.
