It's hard to believe that the holiday season is almost here. It's time to start thinking about that Thanksgiving meal for family and friends.

First on the grocery list is the turkey but with the prices of groceries nowadays, that can be a tough one. Fortunately, POL Care (Package of Love) is having their 4th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.

POL Care Turkey Giveaway: When and Where?

The event will take place on Saturday, November 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Texarkana College, which is located at 2500 North Robinson Road in Texarkana, Texas at the Turman Arnold Student Center parking lot.

There are only a limited number of vouchers that will be handed out so get there early because it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those vouchers won't last long.

POL Care is a nonprofit organization with like-minded individuals committed to helping provide help and serves in assisting children from birth to 18 years of age, including their families.

POL Care Luncheon December 7

Also mark your calendars for the POL Care Luncheon on December 7 from 10 AM to 1 PM at 1 Legion Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas. The guest speaker will be Sr. Pastor Poly Chapel MBC, Rev. Soloman Phifer. Musical guests will be Darren and Lisa Godfry and praise dance by Skii Williams. Tickets are available now and all proceeds will go to Pol Care Community Outreach Program.
