Five East Texas Graduates Will Win $1,000, Sign Up Now for Senior Salutes

Five Deep East Texas area high school graduates will each receive a $1,000 scholarship with the 2025 Senior Salutes presented by KICKS 105, Kelly's Truck Parts, McWilliams Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, as well as KP2 Properties.

Nearly 100 graduating seniors from across the Pineywoods have already submitted their entries into the contest, but there is still time to sign up.

Who is Eligible to Enter?

So far, we have received entries from larger schools, such as Lufkin, Hudson, and Nacogdoches, as well as smaller schools like Brookeland, Apple Springs, and Chester. Public, private, charter, homeschool... everyone is welcome to sign up.

Every entry has an equal chance of getting drawn for one of the five scholarships. We ask for some of your accomplishments and future plans in the registration form so that we can boast on your behalf on the senior salutes that we air every day on KICKS 105.

How Will The Scholarships Be Distributed?

At the end of the promotion, which will be at the end of the first week of June, 5 graduates will be randomly drawn for the $1,000 scholarships.

We will contact these winners and schedule a time when the graduates and representatives of KICKS 105, McWilliams, and Kelly's Truck Parts can meet at their respective high schools for the check presentation.

The $1,000 prize can be used for any purchase that will help the graduate financially with their college or professional training.
