Big Bass Splash Returns to Toledo Bend With $550,000 in Guaranteed Payouts

The Sealy Outdoors Big Bass Splash on Lake Toledo Bend is coming May 16-18 at Cypress Bend Park. This year's mammoth amateur fishing tourney features $550,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes.

The Grand Champion Wins a $100,000+ Prize Package

The angler who brings in the largest bass of the Big Bass Splash wins a prize package that includes a Phoenix 721 ZXL bass boat powered by a Mercury 250 PXS TM motor. The boat is also loaded out with Minn Kota, Hummingbird, and Power Pole. The champion also wins a new Dodge Ram pickup truck along with $5,000 cash.

Over A Quarter Million Dollars in Hourly Payouts

15 places will be paid each hour of every tournament day, beginning with the 7-8 am hour and continuing through the 1-2 pm hour. The angler with the heaviest bass will get the hourly first-place prize of $2500.

Exact Weight Payouts

The contestant(s) who weigh in the first 3.00, 4.00, and 5.00 exact weight bass each day of the tournament will be awarded $5,000. That's a total of $45,000 in payouts for exact weight bass.

If any of the exact weight prizes are not claimed, the prize money will be awarded through random drawings at the closing ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

How to Register For the Tournament

The entry fees for the tournament are $190 for one day, $240 for two days, and $290 for three days.

You can register online at Sealy Outdoors. You can also register and/or pick up your registration packet in person at Cypress Bend Park from 10 am to 8 pm on Thursday, May 15. Sign-ups will also be taken beginning at 5 am during the tournament days.
