Here we go, from Lubbock to outer space.

The Lubbock Arts Festival returns on July 24th-25th, 2021 to the Lubbock Civic Center. We're so excited about this year's event. It's a wonderful chance to mix a little science with the arts.

We spoke with representatives of the Lubbock Arts Festival and there are all kinds of surprises for you.

Of all of the things I remember from my childhood, it was the events that combined learning with fun that I remember most fondly. When you combine a sense of achievement with visually pleasing and/or fun things, it's a home run every time.

This year's event is going to have some opportunities for everyone to get involved that will blow your mind. At this point, I'm not sure what I should reveal, but let's just say that you should make sure your phone is fully charged for some amazing photo opportunities.

Summer can be very challenging for parents, and the Lubbock Arts Festival offers something that's really, really inexpensive to check out. Tickets are only $5 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. It just doesn't get cheaper than that.

To keep everyone spaced out just a bit, the Lubbock Arts Festival asks that you purchase your tickets online if you can (the box office tends to be the most crowded place).

Now here's the biggie: We want you to be "First in Space." We're giving away four passes to the Lubbock Arts Festival, plus VIP parking. You'll also get to cut to the front of the line and be the first to see everything.

You can enter for your chance to win right here. We'll draw a winner on July 8th, 2021 so enter now.
