His name is Fernando Montejano, but his friends call him by his nickname “Grizz.” He’s a professional writer, photographer, and performer, who has been working in the arts for over a decade. Through his dedicated work with a variety of local communities, Grizz has performed in incredible venues all over the city, photographed some of the biggest local acts in El Paso, and become a regular co-host for the cities premier open mic series, The Barbed Wire Open Mic. Grizz was born and raised in Northeast El Paso. His hobbies include movies, watching his favorite TV shows, live music, photography, and drawing. He has a pet cat named Milkshakes.
