In an attempt to “enhance student’s well-being and sense of pride” a Middle School in El Paso, Texas decided to ban their students from wearing all black clothing.

This weekly series is your chance to find out what is going on in Lubbock as I highlight a few different local events that suit a variety of interests. This weekend has some great options, so keep scrolling for more information.

If you are the type that likes to try something new but have a hard time picking what exactly you want to try that day, then a coffee flight would be a great option for you.

One of the most desirable areas to live in Lubbock is the Lakeridge neighborhood. Located between Quaker and Slide, and 82nd and 98th, it is an area with beautiful homes, easy access to a variety of Lubbock businesses, and the Lakeridge Country Club.

Around 21% of Texas adults ages 25 and up have at least a bachelor’s degree as their highest level of education, as of 2022.
