Young Novak Djokovic Fan Gets Souvenir T-Shirt Stolen

When you go to a live sporting event, it's always fun for the kids to try and catch a souvenir the players throw out into the stands, like a T-shirt or a fly ball. It's even better if the kid can catch something from his or her favorite player. But when an adult snatches the prized souvenir out of the kid's hands, that's a whole other matter.

At the final round of the Australian Open, a 14-year-old girl had front row seats to see her favorite player Novak Djokovic defeat Rafael Nadal. As Djokovic was leaving, he tossed one of his T-shirt up to the girl. But before she could grab it, a woman sitting three seats away snatched it away from her. It's hard to watch, and unfortunately for the young fan, the woman has no intention of giving it back.

When the shirt was thrown, there would have been 20 excited people, all with their hands out," she told the Herald Sun. "After (it had been) thrown, there would have been 19 disappointed people. Such is life. I am not sure how you can snatch out of the hands (of) someone sitting three seats away from you with a barrier between the seating."

Seriously? This is about as bad as a guy stealing a fly ball out of a little boy's baseball glove. I've had a T-shirt swiped from me at a basketball game before, so I totally understand how this girl feels. And when you look at the video, you can clearly see this woman reaching out and blocking this girl from getting the shirt. It's pretty disgusting.
