Two Texas Tech Softball Players Named To Preseason All-Big 12 Team

Texas Tech softball players Adriana Perez and Mikey Kenney were named to the College Sports Madness Preseason All-Big 12 team.

Adriana Perez was named to the first team and Mikey Kenney was named to the second team. Perez led the team with a .351 batting average with 15 home runs and 55 RBI's.  Kenney had a .314 batting average with 13 home runs and 31 RBI's.It is the second year that Texas Tech had two players named to the teams, players Sandy James and Emily Bledsoe were named to last years team.

The Lady Raiders start their first practice of the year this Sunday and open the 2013 season on February 8th in Las Vegas at the Sportco Kick-Off Classic.  They will face UCF and Depaul in a doubleheader that day.
