Travis Kelce just got done with the greatest season of all-time by an NFL tight end breaking records left and right. He holds the record for most yards in a season by a tight end with 1,416 and set the Kansas City Chiefs most receptions in a season record with 105. He also broke his own personal best with 11 touchdowns this season.

Because of his dominant season, Kelce was honored as an All-Pro. Kelce and Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald were the only two unanimous choices for The Associated Press NFL All-Pro first team.

The All-Pro team is very highly thought of and more prestigious than a pro bowl nod. It's voted on by 50 media members who cover the NFL and it's Kelce's third selection.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was beaten out as a first-teamer by Aaron Rodgers, praised Kelce's work ethic as the main reason he's successful, "He works his tail off every single day and he’s practicing every single day and he’s making sure he’s prepared for these moments," Mahomes told apnews.com. "For a guy to have that much talent, work that hard and be able to learn really every single day like that, that’s what makes him so special on the field."

Joining Kelce as All-Pro first team members were receiver Tyreek Hill and safety Tyrann Mathieu.

Mathieu is a first-teamer for the second consecutive season and ranks third in the NFL with six interceptions. He recorded nine passes defended, three TFLs, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown as the leader of the 10th-ranked scoring defense in the league. Hill had another productive season as well racking up 1,276 yards through the air in 2020, including 13 games with at least 50 receiving yards all while getting into the endzone 15 times.

Two Chiefs also got on the second-team, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones. Jones led the Chiefs in pressures, quarterback hits, and sacks. Mahomes had another dynamic season becoming one of just five players in NFL history to throw for 4,700+ yards and 38+ touchdowns multiple times during a career. He also leads the NFL in passing ypg with 316 and is one of two quarterbacks who threw a touchdown in every game they started this season.
