Texas Tech men’s golfer Clement Sordet has been recognized as one of the top collegiate golfers in the nation after being placed on Golf World’s Players to Watch List.

The list honors 50 players around the nation, and Sordet’s strong freshman campaign made him an easy selection.

He ended his first Red Raider season by earning PING All-Region honors, and his Top 10 finish at the Big 12 Championship earned him All-Big 12 Tournament honors. He played in all nine spring tournaments including a win at the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational and three consecutive Top 10 finishes. Sordet ended the season with a team-best 72.9 stroke average.

Sordet’s lived up to the hype thus far to start his sophomore season as he finished in third place at The Carmel Cup, just one stroke behind teammate Finley Ewing IV.
