Texas Tech Releases 2013-2014 Men’s Basketball Schedule

Texas Tech released the 2013-2014 Men's Basketball schedule on Thursday and it appears to be one of the toughest schedules in recent memory for the Red Raiders in the first season under Head Coach Tubby Smith.

Tech will open the season on Friday, November 8th hosting Houston Baptist at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock. The first road for the Red Raiders will be November 14th at Alabama.

The Red Raiders will make two trips to Arizona in December taking on the Arizona Wildcats on December 3rd in Tucson and Arizona State in Tempe on December 21st.

The Red Raiders will also play in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn in the days before Thanksgiving taking on the Pittsburgh Panthers and either Stanford or Houston in the enxt game of the tournament. Tech will host the LSU Tigers in Lubbock on December 18th.

The Big 12 schedule for Tech starts January 4th hosting the Iowa State Cyclones in Lubbock while the first conference road game is January 11th in Austin against the Texas Longhorns.
