Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Takes on LSU on Wednesday Night

Tubby Smith and company are gearing up for one of their tough match ups of the non-conference schedule on Wednesday night.  The Tigers of LSU come to town as the Red Raiders are trying to stay unbeaten at the United Spirit Arena this year.  Tech is coming off a 79-57 win over the University of Central Arkansas while the Tigers took down UL-Monroe on December 14th by a score of 61-54.

Now Texas Tech is going to have to play really big inside if they want to have a shot against LSU's tough front court.  The Tigers have two players that average double digit points along with eight or more rebounds per game. Tech will have to do a much better job on the boards than they have thus far this year if they want to come away with a win.  Tip off for Wednesday's game is set for 8pm from the United Spirit Arena and can be seen on ESPNU.
